Old Wow by Sam Lee
Rightly or wrongly, lockdown is gradually starting to lift.
It seems to me that there are so many lessons learned during this period that we must remember.
One is certainly the central importance of the key workers who keep society running.
Another is the pleasure of experiencing London with less cars on the roads, less planes in the sky, less pollutants in the air and more birdsong.
One artist who has long encouraged us to take more time to appreciate nature and its ancient pleasures is Sam Lee.
Sam is a folk singer, song collector and environmental campaigner. His latest album is produced by Bernard Butler and features some wonderful musicians including Brixton’s Misha Mullov-Abbado.
