Clive Daly, a Brixton resident for 60 years, returned to the Bowie mural on the side wall of Morleys this week to mark the fourth anniversary of the performer’s death on 10 January 2016.
Clive, who plays Bowie music at the mural, did so every day for the first two years after his death. He also sells books (without profit) about the Brixton-born star.
He said local police and Lambeth council officials had “used discretion” to allow him to continue his tributes.
The memorial now has its own TripAdvisor page which currently ranks it as number 524 of 2,662 things to do in London.
