Age UK Lambeth’s Celebrating Age festival starts on 1 October 2017 and runs for a month. The programme includes film screenings, concerts, dances, trips and exhibitions.
The festival launches on UN International Day of Older Persons at The Hideaway Streatham this Sunday Oct 1.
Throughout the month highlights include a carnival talk and workshop, a laughter wellness workshop, a dementia friendly seminar, a festival of learning and more.

This is the 17th year of the festival and Age UK Lambeth are appealing for sponsors. “You can donate to support our services by using the donation boxes at Celebrating Age events, visiting our website and clicking the Donate button or by writing a cheque payable to Age UK Lambeth and pop it along to us at our offices at 336 Brixton Road.”
