A public meeting is being held tonight at Brixton Library, 7 pm, to discuss fighting the cuts to Lambeth’s libraries.
Lambeth council has launched a consultation on Cultural Services by 2020.
Save Our Services campaigners are hoping to find ways to fight the cuts that are proposed for the borough’s libraries.
The proposals include selling Minet and Waterloo libraries, moving the Lambeth Archives to Brixton Library, ending funding to Durning, Carnegie and Upper Norwood Libraries next year and allowing Picturehouse to take over West Norwood Libary.
To have your say join the discussion at 7 pm tonight at Brixton Library, SW2, or complete the questionnaire on the council’s website.
