A young man is in hospital with ‘non life-threatening injuries’ after being stabbed in the neck near to Deli Corner, in Upper Tulse Hill.
Upper Tulse Hill – between Brixton Hill and Tulse Hill – was sealed off after the incident, at about 3pm yesterday.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a stabbing in Upper Tulse Hill at 3.06pm. Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a 24-year-old man suffering a stab wound to the neck.”
One Brixton Blog follower, whose mother was unable to get through the police cordon near to her home, tweeted us to to say: “Stabbing, according to the police and my old mum. A young man stabbed in the neck, collapsed outside Le Deli Corner.”
No arrests have been made following the stabbing.
