We absolutely love the now annual festival to celebrate Brixton’s own windmill, coming up this weekend. A parade will leave from Windrush Square this Sunday June 22 at 12pm. The theme is ‘Poppies and Prams’, so all are welcome to bring wheeled contraptions – a pram, a trolley or even a wheelbarrow would do – and wear red to join in the parade up to the Windmill itself in Blenheim Gardens. There will be music and lots of laughter along the way, plus local acts, Cossack dancers, food stalls and even Brixton City Farm to entertain everyone in Blenheim Gardens.
