A pioneering south London funeral director is to hold a ‘myth-busting’ event on death at a Clapham hospice next month.
The evening, called You Only Die Once, has been organised by Trinity Hospice and Poppy Mardell, from Poppy’s Funerals.
The drinks reception and discussion, on May 14, will aim to uncover the truth behind what happens at a funeral, with families sharing their own experience of dealing with a death and organising the ceremony.
Poppy Mardell, director of Poppy’s, said: “It’s a rare opportunity to blow this taboo subject wide open and to have an honest, open and I am certain, entertaining look at the options and choices available for people.
“We’re going to be serving prosecco which should help the questions flow. It should be a really fun evening!”
Trinity Hospice, on Clapham Common North Side organises end of life care for people from Brixton, Clapham and across south London.
I do trust all of the ideas you have offered to your post.
They are very convincing and can definitely work.
Still, the posts are too short for novices. Could you
please lengthen them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.
