A new restaurant and takeaway is to take the place of a former off-licence in Atlantic Road, Brixton.
Planning officers from Lambeth council this month approved the change of use for the building, formerly Atlantic Wine, from retail to restaurant use, plus the installation of a new extraction flue.
It is not yet known what gastronomic treat is planned for the ground floor and basement site, at 61 Atlantic Road, but the application was made in the name of a Mr H Offer from Threshold Land & Estates Ltd Pension Plan.
The premises is currently offered “for rent” by agents Goodsir Commercial.

When will we get details of how it will benefit longstanding local residents.
Good news, better to have a restaurant instead of a grotty off-licence, betting shop, payday loan or empty shop.
I hear its a little waitrose…. >.<
