A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being stabbed in the chest in St John’s Crescent, Brixton last night.
Three men, all aged 16, have been arrested in connection with the incident, which happened at about 5pm last night. They are still in custody at south London police stations.
Police officers sealed off surrounding roads, including part of Gresham Road, last night as they began door-to-door enquiries in the area.
Sgt Jack Rowlands tweeted: “We have just responded to a stabbing in St Johns Crescent SW9. Man taken to hospital with poss life threatening injuries. Three men arrested.
“We have a crime scene in place. I have officers patrolling the area, any concerns please ask. If you saw what happened please call 101.”
