Two fire crews dealt with a blaze at a house in Elm Park, Brixton yesterday.
According to Twitter reports two fire engines were called to the fire at about 9.30pm last night.
The fire reportedly started in the kitchen, although a fire brigade investigator at the scene today could not be sure what caused the blaze.
The house suffered severe smoke damage, and no-one was in at the time.
Jake Orr told Brixton Blog on Twitter: “House fire on Elm Park Road. 2 fire engines. Fire controlled but extensive internal fire damage. No one hurt.”
