Renewed appeal following robbery in Tulse Hill

Police in Lambeth have arrested a man following a violent robbery which left a man stabbed in the thigh outside Povey House, Tulse Hill.

The victim, in his twenties, was surrounded by a group of youths who demanded the keys to his car. During the attack the man had his iPhone, Blackberry and watch stolen before the suspects ran off at about 9.30pm on December 27.

The man later collapsed outside the post office on Elm Park, Brixton Hill at about 9.40pm. He was treated by paramedics and a doctor from the air ambulance team before being taken to hospital by road.

One man, aged 21, was arrested on Friday (February 4) in connection with the robbery. He has since been released on bail.
