Two teenagers charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of 15-year-old Junior Nkwelle in Loughborough Estate have been remanded in custody.
The accused, a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy, will now appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow.
Mr Nkwelle was found by police on Thursday at 9.30pm, outside Secker House. He had been fatally stabbed in the chest.
On Saturday his mother, Stella, made an emotional plea for information. She said: ”I would like all of the kids who saw what happened to my son to come forward and speak to the police.
“I am pleading with the parents to let their children do that, and to support their children in telling the truth. If they do not it could lead to this happening again one day.”
