Today is the deadline for comments on the draft Supplementary Planning Document. You’d be justified in turning off that this point if that name sounds boring, confusing and frankly dementor-ish, but it’s not, because this document will decide what Brixton town centre looks like in the future. This document deals with questions such as, should we keep the Brixton Recreation Centre (we say ‘yes’! But you might say ‘no’) or what will happen to the Barrier Block? This is your chance to put your comments up and have your voice heard. It’s up to the council to really listen to that voice, of course, and we hope they do.
