A Brixton man has been jailed for nine years for conspiracy to deal of 3kg heroin
Charles Jimmy, 27, of Langbourne House, Effra Parade, was sentenced on Friday after pleading guilty to dealing the drug.
He was part of a group of four men handed a total of 34 years in jail at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday after being found in Woodford, east London with £400,000 worth of heroin.
Officers, who had been trailing the men, stopped them and discovered a bag containing three large blocks of drugs. One man, Wale Edeh, of Barking, was in possession of a stun gun.
Det Const Jim Casey of Trident, said: “These convictions following a lengthy and meticulous operation designed to tackle the dealing of drugs on the streets of northeast London. The men were extremely organized and were clearly prepared to handle large quantities of heroin without a thought for the lives and communities they would go on to destroy.”
