Brixton youngsters will find out all about recycling at a library film screening.
The family event, organised by Brixton Low Carbon Zone, will take place at Brixton Library, in Windrush Square, on 25th February at 11am.
It will feature three eco documentaries, including the one below entitled Be Zero Waste – Join Brixton, which follows five residents of the Loughborough Estate as they share tips on how we can all be greener.
Brixton was selected as one of ten Low Carbon Zones across the capital in 2009 The scheme, set up by the London mayor, aims to reduce the area’s carbon emissions by 20.12 per cent by the 2012 Olympic Games.
