Police have launched a murder investigation after an assault in Tulse Hill last week led to a man’s death.
Terry Isaacs, 56, was discovered with severe head injuries, he was taken to a South London hospital but died on Tuesday.
Detectives are looking for a number of items as part of the investigation.
Police were called at 7.44 am on Thursday, February 19, to reports of a pool of blood in Bannister Close, SW2.
Officers carried out a search of the area and found Isaacs suffering from multiple head injuries which he later died from.
On Thursday officers arrested a 45-year-old man and 39-year-old woman on suspicion of GBH but they have since been bailed, pending further inquiries.
The items detectives are now looking for include two mobile phones, a wallet, a bag and a metal tobacco tin.
The wallet is described as bi-folding with a flag of St George and a blue border. The word “England” is written across the front of the wallet.
The tobacco tin is rectangular in shape and the size of a cigarette box. It has a green lid with ”Tell your girlfriend I said Thanks” written on it.
Detective Inspector Sharon Marman, said: “I would ask anyone who has seen these items to contact officers. It is important that we build a picture of the events that morning and tracing these items will play a valuable role in the investigation.”
Anyone with information is asked to call officers on 020 8721 4054 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
