Residents will be able to create and run a virtual park under a council scheme to get people involved in running their own local spaces.
The decisions people make in a “virtual” game will also be used by Lambeth Park Services to help them decide what the public wants out of their parks.
Cllr Sally Prentice, Cabinet Member for Culture and Leisure said: “Lambeth’s Cooperative Parks Programme is the first of its kind in the country, where communities can have a say in how parks and open spaces are run.”
The game aims to be as close to real life with in-game budgets based on their real life counterparts.
White October, an Oxford based firm, is developing the site and previously developed the Lambeth Library Challenge for Lambeth Council.
The game will be released sometime early this year.
