Not to be missed this weekend, apparently, is the launch of new destination pop-up Sorry, No Vacancies, a pop up bar, club and eaterie just of Brixton Road.
According to their own PR crew the venture will be:
“Combining big food, proper drinks and some damn fine musical supervision, Sorry, No Vacancies is set to open in Brixton from this Saturday til January, serving up hearty portions of good times.
On Saturday 2nd November the split level venue with heated yard and smoking area will open its doors to the public for the first time.
Expect gastronomical feats by Chris Gillard served up in “The Dog House” – the venue’s in-house hot dog emporium, more gloriously intoxicating potions from mixologists Soul Shakers with names like “Blue Cheer”, “Flashback” and “Now Get Hip” and sonic direction from the likes of The Invisible (DJ set), Soft Rocks, Hannah Holland, Sound of the Cosmos, Nadia Ksaiba, Heavenly Jukebox, Ray Mang, Bill Brewster, Homance, The Pool DJs, Cut & Shut Disco and many more to be announced.”
