After a hectic weekend grouping and hanging the work of 52 artists, and with many thanks to Martin Grover for his invaluable help, the 2023 Brixton Blog & Bugle Summer Art Show in Brixton’s Tate Library, is now open. This is the fourth one, and the biggest yet. There’s a mix of the light-hearted and the serious, the personal and the political, bold colour and subtle tones, and the full range of media and techniques, from Brixton’s artist community. The show is about bringing local artists and the local community together in the ideal venue. And so there’s a people’s vote to select the winner. Come along and see just how creative Brixton is.
The show runs until 27 July and has the same opening hours as the library.
