Lambeth residents are invited to join a community science project on April 23 at Impact Hub Brixton.
Loop Labs are running a “citizen science” programme in association with Lambeth Council to increase awareness and understanding of the environmental issues that affect people in London.
They have been working with school children in the borough, who have been using environmental sensors to measure air quality and activity trackers to find out how much walking and cycling their parents do.
They are now inviting the community to learn more about the project and get involved.
The event, from 7 p.m to 9 p.m, will also be an opportunity for people to learn how they can help the local air quality and to discover the benefits of walking.
