Police have asked for help to find a Romanian tourist who was separated from his son on a Tube train at Stockwell Underground station.
Vasile Belea, 63, became separated from his son on Tuesday at 10am when he failed to get on a Victoria-bound train before the doors shut.
He may have got on the following train or tried to return to Hackbridge, Sutton, where he had been staying at his son’s home since visiting the UK.
PC Richard Owen, leading the investigation, said Vasile had come over to enjoy Christmas with his son before returning to Romania at the end of January.
Vasile speaks only very limited English.
He is described as 6ft tall with grey hair. He was wearing blue jeans, a long dark black jacket and a black flat cap. He has money and an Oyster card but was not carrying any medication for his arthritis. He has an iPhone but no SIM card so cannot be contacted.
