Artist James Bridle has drawn a ‘drone shadow’, a life size outline of an MQ-9 Reaper drone, outside Ritzy Cinema.
This has been done to promote the premiere of documentary Dirty Wars at Ritzy cinema.
Mr Bridle believes it important to raise awareness of an issue which he says has been deliberately kept secret.
The documentary follows American journalist Jeremy Scahill’s investigation into America’s covert operations across Afghanistan, Yemen and Somalia.
Scahill will be attending the 6.30pm premier tonight and there will be a Q&A session with him after the screening.
It is the third release by BRITDOC, a non-profit film foundation supported by Channel 4.
