Organisers of the Brixton BookJam are holding a competition to find new literary talent.
The winner will meet with a literary agent face to face to discuss their work, future plans and how they can get their book published.
A submission should be the first five thousand words of the novel plus a brief plot outline. This will be read and judged by agents from Janklow & Nesbit, a prominent literary and media agency.
Brixton Book Jam was created by Zelda Rhiando, James Wallis and Stuart Taylor in July 2012 to provide a forum for prose in Brixton.
It has since gone from strength to strength, the organisers now attract more than one hundred and fifty people to their events.
Email your submission to hogden@janklow.co.uk by October 1 2013.
