Campaigners against drug-dealing and use, shoplifting, other crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) in Brixton’s streets and businesses are urging residents and people who work here to complete a short survey to help keep up the pressure for change.
It is the second survey organised by Action on ASB! “By doing it annually, we want to show if progress is being made so agencies can be held accountable,” the organisation said.
“We want to hear what you think about anti-social behaviour in Brixton and understand what you would like agencies to do when it comes to dealing with the problem by completing a short survey.

“Your input really matters. The more people who complete the survey, the more seriously the issues will be listened to by the organisations responsible for dealing with them.”
Action on ASB! said the findings will be communicated to the Metropolitan police, Lambeth council, and other agencies to help shape their plans to tackle the problem.
It will also present the results at meetings and through communications to raise awareness of what is most important to the community.
“Please share with your friends, neighbours and community networks so we can get as many opinions as possible,” Action on ASB! said.

Action on ASB! is also organising a community meeting on Monday 24 March at Pop Brixton to update people on its work and to host three workshops to:
- Share views on how authorities and agencies have responded to its campaign and other expressions of concern about Brixton
- Discuss what issues should be prioritised by the campaign
- Shape ideas for the campaign.
- Doors open at 6.30pm; the meeting runs from 7 to 9pm.
