LJ Works in Loughborough Junction is hosting a free community winter fair on 6 December. It will feature a craft market with local makers, food and drink, musicfrom young DJs from the charity Grooveschool, and free creativeworkshops for kids, including a comic book making session led by a localauthor. The main focus of the day is to support community organisations. Choir performances, treasure trails and a charity raffle will add to the fun alongside hands-on workshops including festive cards and wreathmaking for all ages. “Our Winter Fest is all about celebrating the brilliant makers and doerswho call the area home,” said the LJ Works team. “You can browse stalls from local traders, pick up handcrafted gifts andtasty treats, and join free creative sessions.” Raffle prizes include local restaurant meals, experience days, andhandmade gifts.
