If you like bold, vibrant, energetic images drop into Photofusion to check out Rewind – the debut exhibition of Brixton-based photographer, Soulla Petrou.

The works are a mix of portraits and performance from her early years working with artists and a range of publications in the music industry. Geri Halliwell, Travis, Sophie Ellis-Bextor Damon Albarn are just a few of the famous faces you will see on the walls. There are many more in the photobook, Rewind, Journey of a Music Photographer, which accompanies the exhibition.
Soulla’s specialises in fashion, beauty and the music industry, but her work demonstrates how creative commercial photography can be. Shot between 1994 and 2009 the colourful images are in turn striking, witty, and even intimate, and celebrate an important period in British music.
Rewind runs until 27 September in Photofusion, 2 Beehive Place, SW9 7QR
Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 6pm. Entry is free.
