Open Source Intelligence and Counterinsurgency for the Jobbing Hater 6 and 7 October, Bread and Roses Theatre, Clapham Manor St, SW4 6DZ, 9pm. Tickets £12, £10 concs. Production company Brava Guava bring their show Hater to the home of the Lambeth Fringe. The dark comedy, through absurdist humour and surrealist stagecraft, tells the story of Chines actress Lum Was as she wreaks havoc on her personal and professional life.

Beyond the Sky is Your Limit – Work in Progress 9 and 10 October, Club Silly, Arch 555, 18 Valentia Place, SW9 8PJ, 8pm. Tickets £10, £8 concs. In this satirical wellness seminar, we join Heidi and Julie, Australia’s ‘leading health experts’ as they record the latest episode of their live podcast. ‘Expect questionable Q&As, misguided visualisations, suspicious embodiment exercises, and dangerously high doses of unsolicited advice…’ Heidi and Julie are also known as comedians Rose Berry & Emilie Brittain.
Bound by the Wind 10 and 11 October, Club Silly, Arch 555, 18 Valentia Place, SW9 8PJ, 6pm. Tickets £10, £8 concs. Written and directed by Xinyue (Sammi) Xing, Bound by the Wind reimagines the story of Mulan. Through ‘intimate physical staging, haunting sound design, and lyrical bilingual dialogue’, the play tackles themes of identity, sacrifice, and freedom.
Burstellar Productions Present The Tenant’s Republic 11 October, Bread and Roses Theatre, Clapham Manor St, SW4 6DZ, 7pm. Tickets £12, £10 concs. Burstellar Productions, established in 2024 by writer and director Kwami-Teye Canacoo, bring this satirical comedy to the Bread and Roses. Our protagonist decides to get his own back against his ever neglectful landlord, and accidentally starts a cold war…

Ordinary 12 October, Bread and Roses Theatre, Clapham Manor St, SW4 6DZ, 3pm. Tickets £12, £10 concs. Bespoken Theatre bring their play Ordinary to its protagonist Helen Duncan’s Lambeth stomping ground. The play blends physical and Epic theatre with puppetry, mask, and surrealist vaudeville to tell the story of a woman imprisoned in 1944 under the Witchcraft Act of 1735.
