Real Bread Windmill Lecture

    Real bread provides nutritional and environmental benefits – and offers us a chance to transform our communities.

    The lecture will explore the social importance of baking, from its therapeutic effects to providing residents with employment opportunities.

    The annual Windmill Lecture is only one of the events organised by the Friends to celebrate the Lambeth Heritage Festival, which runs throughout September.

    The Lambeth Heritage Festival is a month-long programme of events led by Lambeth Archives and the Lambeth Local History Forum.
