The Brixton festival crew Come Together have teamed up with Brixton Green and Hill Mead Primary to put on a very special summer fair and street party.
The summer event, which takes place at 6 Somerleyton Road from 1pm until 6pm tomorrow will see stalls, games and all the fun of the fair.
Year 4 pupil at Hill Mead school, Caoimhe, said: “Everyone in the school is really excited and we have been busy preparing items to sell. In Year 3, they made flower pot men with chives for hair. Year 2 made cakes and Year 5 grew lots of herbs for a kitchen garden.”
She added: “In Year 4 we have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so it seemed natural to make lots of tasty chocolate cakes and biscuits.”
