Brixton joins Pokémon Go craze

It had to happen.

Brixton has its own Pokémon Go Facebook page.

Founder Ashley Emery (left) hopes it will enable fans in the area to share news and events.

And Ashley isn’t the only one.

Brixton Jamm is running a Pokémon Go Lure Party on Saturday 6 August from 4pm to 4am.

It’s a “hip-hope-lure-fest” with Poké-cocktails, rare Pokémon and rarer cuts. The venue will be lured

. As night falls, Jamm’s usual players will be taking to the stage with the Gold Teeth All Stars.

A self-confessed “asshole new media type” has already posted a visual journey through Brixton with the wildly popular app.

And so has Julian Benson, who found a Gastly outside Saint Matthews Church.
