All that is bright – South London Women Artists

Heart of the City by Michelle Baharier

South London Women Artists (SLWA) is a critically acclaimed group of visual artists living and working in south London and exhibiting across the UK and internationally.

Launched by The Friends of Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2008, SLWA was initially a website created to showcase the work of women artists from south London.

The enthusiasm for the website was so great that a strong community of artists soon developed into a women’s collective. It is now a not-for-profit unincorporated association; managed and run by its members, all of whom volunteer their time and expertise. It is self-financed and independent.

All that is Bright is their current exhibition – an eclectic group of original paintings and limited edition prints by 14 artists. All the works are for sale at no more than £250 each.

The show runs from 2 – 21 December in  the Paxton Centre, 52 Anerley Hill, SE19 2AE.
