Brixton Book Jam online

Brixton BookJam logoBrixton BookJam, the home of congenial, intelligent, unpredictable and free literary events, tonight (13 April) hosts the first of its planned virtual Lockdown Jams from 19.30 to 21.00 GMT, using Zoom. To find out how to take part visit the Jam’s website.

Organisers have invited some of their favourite writers to read short pieces, including  Daniel Ruiz Tizon, Anna Maconochie, Stuart Maconie, Venetia Welby and Andrew Mueller.

The special lockdown edition will also feature musical interludes by Morton Valence and will be compered by Zelda Rhiando.

More, fortnightly, online jams are planned. The next two are due to be on 27 April and 11 May.
