Are you OK? Brixton charity wants to know

Brixton mental health charity Mosaic Clubhouse based on Effra Road marked Mental Health Awareness Week in May by asking passers-by: are you OK?

Mosaic members and staff, who are also celebrating 25 years of the charity, decorated railings with an eye-catching display and handed out leaflets telling people about the services on offer.

More than 500 clubhouse members – who all live with mental illness – run the centre alongside 24 staff.

Its services include support in finding education and employment – as well as a café, information hub and an evening sanctuary.

The Sanctuary is a new out of-hours support service in a non-clinical space, targeted at Lambeth residents over 18 years of age who live with a mental health condition.

The Evening Sanctuary is now open every day of the week from 6pm to 2am.
