Leading church figures in South London have joined forces to bring Windrush: Portrait of a Generation – which received widespread acclaim earlier this year – back to Clapham and Brixton to be re-exhibited.

The Reverend Canon Dr Rosemarie Mallett and Reverend Kit Gunasekera of St John’s Angell Town, Brixton and St James, Clapham, are hosting Jim Grover’s photographs and accompanying narrative in their respective churches during October and November, to coincide with Black History Month.
This extraordinary exhibition portrays the current lives and traditions of the first generation of Caribbean migrants, who settled in Brixton and Clapham.
