Ten riders rode for Brixton BMX against others who were representing clubs from all over London and the South of England in September at the South of England regional meeting at the Merton BMX track in Mitcham

Highlight of the day for Brixton was Jason Lewis (left) triumphing in the veterans’ final after winning all his three qualifying races to remain unbeaten all day.

Ignacy Lorek from Norbury achieved a well-deserved and famous victory on his local track by winning the final of the mixed 6 year olds and under age group after very good results in each of his three qualifying races riding for the host club, Merton Saints.

Alex Taylor from East Dulwich came third in the final of the 12 year old boys age group after he also got great results in his three qualifying races, coming second in the semi final.
