Brixton’s Windmill to host celebration of leftfield alternative, math and pop

    UPGEFUKT Fest is Brixton’s new celebration of leftfield alternative, math and pop.

    It will features loads of exciting new bands from the UK’s experimental underground across two stages, on Saturday 20 October this year at that great venue,  Windmill, Brixton.

    UPGEKUKT flyerThe festival headliner is still to be announced, but the line-up already includes Glaswegian instrumental heavyweights Vasa, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter Natalie Evans, one-man-math-maestro Steve Strong and Blanket, whose debut album was released on Music For Nations (Sony) in May.

    Joining them will be South London math/alt/electro aficionados Death and the Penguin and The Mantis Opera as well as an eclectic mix of other acts.

    For a limited time only, there are cheap early bird tickets are available.
