Brixton Fund calls for a community vote on project spending

7-9pm Wednesday 28 June | Popbox auditorium, Pop Brixton

The Brixton Fund is seeking recommendations at a community meeting next Wednesday 28 June on the distribution of funding to local projects. Representatives of those on the shortlist will be there to make their case and then all those in attendance can vote for the projects they believe deliver the most value to the community.

There will also be a panel discussion exploring community investment and practical ways that more resources can be drawn  into the community, with representatives from sustainability group Transition Town Brixton, Echo, the timebanking platform through which people trade in time and skills rather than money, and other local groups.

Attendance is free to all and while tickets are not essential RSVPs are requested at this page on Eventbrite. Come along and have your say in the future of the Brixton community. 6.45pm for 7pm start | Refreshments will be provided
