    BhopalMonday 16 November: The latest exhibition at Photofusion, Bhopal: Facing 30, portrays the site of the Bhopal disater, 30 years on, through the family portraits and panoramas of photographer Francesca Moore. Until December 4. Free entry.

    Tuesday 17: Laugh Out London Dogstar brings a night of alternative comedy back to Brixton featuring Edinburgh comedy award winner Sam Simmons. Doors 7.30 pm, starts 8 pm. Tickets £5 advance, £7 door.

    Wednesday 18: Laid Bare is a live music night at the Ritzy hosted by local musician, Rami Radi, presenting the best musicians, singers and poets south London has to offer. Based around two featured acts, the night is dedicated to local performers to showcase their talent in a warm and friendly environment. Starts 7.30 pm, free entry.

    Wednesday: Block 336 is hosting a series of conversations, System Failure: six conversations to reboot the art world. This, the third, addresses “The money problem: or how artists could be paid more than £10,00” with Mark Gubb and Angela Kennedy. 6 to 8 pm. £7.

    Thursday 19: One Hand Can’t Clap presents Common Ties, a celebration of Caribbean heritage and culture. Guest speakers, cultural wisdom, spoken word performance and music featuring award-winning entrepreneur, coach Loriett Hudson, creator of the “Things Mama Used to Say” gift card set. 6 to 8 pm.

    Friday 2o: Atlantic Soul Orchestra, a seven-piece funk and soul band, stop for the night at The Blues Kitchen. Free entry before 9.30 pm, £6 after.

    Friday: Head to Vegbar for its second Loud Women night, featuring all-woman and female-fronted punk/rock/pop bands.

    Saturday 21: Sumochief, a London-based jazz/hip-hop band, perform at the Railway Tavern, Tulse Hill. 9 pm to 1.30 am. Free entry.

    Sunday 22: Rootmaster, a free night every Sunday at Hootananny, features Amadou Diagne this weekend, delivering soulful, bluesy songs. 8 to 12 pm. Free.
