Decision due on Sudbourne school expansion

sudbourne

The council will decide on the proposed expansion of Sudbourne School next week.

Sudbourne Primary School hopes to build a new school building on the site of the old timber yard at 47-49 Acre Lane, with an entrance onto Sudbourne Road. This would increase the form entry to 3 forms which would mean that Sudbourne could accept 90 children in each year group instead of 45.

The deputy leader of the council is due to decide on the expansion next Monday February 16.

  1. I thought it had all been approved? I have been waiting for the building work to begin. Does anyone know why it’s back at decision stage please?

    Thanks
