Do you need help with writing your CV? Volunteer Centre Lambeth is offering a free 1/2 day workshop for Lambeth residents next Wednesday December 3.
The workshop – running from 9.30am til 1pm – will be delivered by experienced trainers from Learning & Co. This 3 ½ hour workshop will enable participants to recognise their own achievements, skills, and work history, and teach them how to write and construct a well formatted and compelling CV. The course will also provide advice on how to write a personal statement.
The CV workshop is free; a follow-up service, run by Learning & Co., offers further advice to participants and costs £10.
The Centre also runs free training sessions for volunteers, and help with other skills – drop-in sessions take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm.
Recent courses at the Centre have included an introduction to volunteering, and a work shop on social media for organisations.
