Man assaulted and robbed of his watch on Leander Road, Brixton

rsz_stock_pic_policePolice have appealed for witnesses after a 24-year-old man was beaten up and robbed of his £1,400 watch on Leander Rd.

Three attackers followed the man from Effra Road before knocking him to the ground, attacking him and stealing his Tag Heuer watch.

On September 13, the victim walked from Brixton Road to Leander Road, via Effra Road and Josephine Avenue, before the assault at about 2am.

During the walk, he had removed his watch and put it in his pocket.

The attackers were all men between 18-25.

The first suspect has been described by police as black, 5ft 10ins tall, wearing dark clothing, a baseball cap and a bag across his shoulders.

The second was mixed race,  5ft 7ins tall and was carrying a rucksack.

The third was black and  5ft 10ins tall. He was also described as wearing dark clothing.
