Laid Bare Presents… is a brand new music night based on the successful Laid Bare At The Ritzy in Brixton open mic evenings. Rami Radi, local musician and organiser of Laid Bare promises  “an exciting and  lively  night, presenting some of the finest singers, poets and musicians South London has to offer.”
Local musician, Rami Radi, started the monthly open mic night in July 2013, and in the last year it has grown in popularity. Based around two featured acts, the night is dedicated to local performers showcasing their talent in a warm and friendly environment. And since its formation last summer, Laid Bare At The Ritzy has played host to some of the country’s hottest new bands (Childhood), seasoned pros (Killa Kela) and Chart Toppers (Ayah Marar – of Calvin Harris fame), all performing alongside the best of Brixton’s local talent.
On Thursday 24 July, Laid Bare Presents… will showcase seven acts over two floors at the stunning arts space Brixton East. Established performers, Ayah Marar and Them & Us will headline, along with local acts Solsine & El Crisis, singer-songwriters Our Man In The Field & Scrambles, and poet George Irwell, for what promises to be a very special night.
Doors: 7pm-1am. Entry is FREE before 7.30pm!
