The ‘What’s Golden’ hip-hop collective bring their classic flavour to Brixton this Friday 20 and Saturday 21 at 02 Academy Brixton. It’s set to be absolutely off the hook with Dilated Peoples as supporting act you do not want to miss this if you are into your hip-hop.
J5 made up of rappers Chali 2na, Akil, Zaakir, Mark 7even and disc jockeys DJ Nu-Mark and Cut Chemist first formed in 1993 and debuted their first single ‘Unified Rebelution’ in 1995. Three albums followed to critical acclaim including ‘Quality Control’, ‘Power in Numbers’ and ‘Feedback’ and spawned hip-hop classics such as ‘Thin Line’, ‘Whats Golden’ and ‘Work It Out’.
