Local rapper Ragz-CV to hold music marathon for Alzheimer’s Society

Brixton musician Ragz-CV is to continue his fundraising  efforts by holding a marathon live music bash in a Herne Hill bar.

The event will see more than 60 performers, including singers, rappers, bands and comedians, putting on a 15-hour show at Dee Dee’s, 77 Herne Hill on June 28.

Ragz-CV, real name Ryan Junior Matthews-Robinson, previously raised more than £3500 for the charity with the sales from his EP Paying Homage to the King.

He said: “What makes the event unique is it will be starting at midday & finishing at 3am yes that’s right 15 hours of great entertainment all in aid of ‘Alzheimer’s Society’ Charity. “Now you know why it’s called the ‘Music Marathon’ come down & support a great event with an important cause.”The music marathon takes place at DeeDees Bar, Herne Hill on June 28 from midday.
