This charming video, shot on a handheld go pro camera “over several lunch breaks” seems to capture a sentimental snapshot of every day life in the centre of Brixton. It was filmed by freelance videographer Tom Baker about a year ago and features some well known Brixton characters and landmarks. What do you make of it? I love the blog, find Brixton absolutely fascinating, but I am not a huge fan of the film. The content is beautiful but I feel Brixton deserve the colours, because that’s what’s so amazing about the whole place- the colours, not the least in the market, the smells, the aromas, the flavours. Black and white just doesn’t let us see all that!
