The Space

Lets get one thing straight; this is by no means a ‘pub’. It’s a bar – with a slightly rough-around-the-edges sparsity. Think dive bar meets student union.

The Punters

During the week, small groups of older men are scattered amongst the odd young couple, even one or two lone drinkers. Weekends though, it attracts a much livelier crowd of ale guzzlers.

The Booze

The mammoth menu boasts London’s largest selection. It’s crammed with local and international brews from both bottle and barrel. Be it Stout or Saison, Dunkel or Doppelbock, Pilsner or Porter – discerning beer drinkers, welcome to Utopia.

The Grub

Peckish punters can nibble on thinks like scotch eggs, pork pies and a typical selection of ‘posh’ nuts and crisps. If you’re looking for a hearty meal, look elsewhere.

The Damage

Prices seem to be pretty varied and depend on what you choose. Worth asking, some hit the pricier end!

An Interesting Fact

There are over 230 different types of cask ale, kegs and bottled beer to choose from.

The Highlights

The beer. And the extremely helpful staff that guide you towards brews they think you’ll get along with.

What’s a bit rubbish?

Interior feels like an afterthought. A few cosy seating options would encourage people to relax and work their way through more of the beers.

What else they got in the bag?

They host a range of events including beer-tasting sessions that start from a reasonable £15.

To sum it up…

Expert list, amateur surroundings.
