New painting studio for children to open in Brixton

palette studio illustration 2 (color)The first UK painting studio for children using the Arno Stern method is to open in Brixton on 11th January at Papa’s Park Hall. The studio is aimed at children aged 5 and above, and will run every Saturday morning and afternoon from 10th.

The studio will be run by Eglantine Gouzy, an artist and music composer. Eglantine graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Paris-Cergy in 2001. In 2012 she discovered the Arno Stern method and trained with Stern in person and is now a certified creative education practitioner. The method aims to create a learning environment that is sheltered from pressure or judgment in order to encourage spontaneous self-expression and creative exploration.

If you want to book a session, get in touch with Eglantine at eglantinegouzy@yahoo.fr or ring her on 0778 66 46 694.
