Electric Social - Club Luxar There are some corking nights coming up this weekend in Brixton to see in the Bank Holiday, including the inimitable Alabama 3 and Congo Natty at Jamm on Fri 23rd, and a cracking carnival after-party on Monday 26th: Dubwise Festival at Plan B.

But if you’re looking for straight up grooves then check out Electric Social on Sunday 25th, as it  plays host to a night of house, nu disco and funk courtesy of Club Luxar. Louis La Roche and Punks Jump Up will be joined by Blende and Earl Grey for some floor-filling beats.

Club Luxar have been treated to a special minimix by Norwich’s finest DJ (not Alan Partridge) Louis La Roche – who’s looking forward to returning to Brixton: ‘I’ve played at Electric Brixton but never Electric Social. I’m excited! My set will be full of all the old LLR tracks, all the new and some unheard material. As well as a mixture of tracks I love at the moment. Expect Disco, House and Funk.’

Have a listen to Louis’ Brixton minimix here.
