Wednesday 10th Ferndale Road’s Chocolate Museum is running a delectable chocolate-making workshop for sweet-toothed adults. Thursday 11th One of your last chances to see Knight Webb Gallery’s exhibition Sketches of Time, an exploration of painterly abstraction through the works of artists from the UK, China, Korea and the USA.

Brockwell Park offers a summer holiday craft workshop for children: Rag Weaving II. Your child will make a work of art using recycled textiles with artist Karina Blackhurst. £5 per child, discounts for the unwaged available. Booking absolutely essential. Saturday 13th Frockswap is exactly what is sounds like – a clothes swapping event! This one’s in aid of Trekstock charity, supporting young people with cancer. £2 is the suggested donation for entry. All clean clothes and accessories (barring pants and socks) are welcomed and you’ll be awarded a swappable token for each item you bring. Effra Social, 2pm-5pm.
Also on Sunday is Brixton Windmill’s Big Gig, a celebration of community and music. Featuring The No Frills Band between 1 – 5pm, the Big Gig will allow visitors to not only listen to this local band’s wide range of music, but also to join in and participate. The band play regularly at events at Brixton Windmill and as part of the Big Gig will also work with gig goers in creating and making instruments from recycled materials.
