Police appeal follows lorry collision on Brixton Road

rsz_stock_pic_policePolice have appealed for witnesses to a Brixton Road collision that left a man fighting for his life.

A lorry struck the pedestrian, in his fifties, near the junction with Brighton Terrace at about 9.15pm last Saturday (March 29).

According to the Met, the lorry driver stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.The pedestrian remains in hospital in a critical condition.

Witnesses are asked to call the Road Death Investigation Unit at Hampton Traffic Garage on 020 8941 9011 and quote the following reference number CRIS: 1209400/13.
